Going Green

With my diet that is. I've decided to take 3-Day Green Smoothie Challenge.

As you may or may not know I don't currently take medication for being bipolar. I took them for a very short while and then abruptly decided to flush them all down the toilet one day. Although I can verbalize the fact that I'm bipolar it has still been a hard pill to swallow.

One of the biggest changes I need to make whether on medication or not is my diet and lifestyle. I have the worst eating habits and I only exercise when I feel like it, but that is all changing TODAY! I'm going to start by working out 3 days a week. Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays for at least an hour. I'm going to complete this challenge and then keep green smoothies in my diet. I have nixed my Coke addiction cold turkey and will incorporate drinking water into my diet (I hate drinking water).

I have some family members that are bipolar and they use to take medication but since duped them. I hate meds...I feel sometimes they cause more problems in the long run. But, yay!! diet and excercise is the key. I am funny about what water I have to find one that you like because my favorite is aquafina. I can't stand the taste of others. People think I'm crazy because there is a difference in taste! lol :)

LOL...I too can taste the difference in water. We have a cooler and I like the taste of this water, but I'm just not accustomed to drinking water.

You'll do great! Maybe if you add lemon, lime or orange slices to your water it may help.
