Mama Kat's prompts this week are as follows:
1.) In the book I’m reading,Girls of Tender Age,the main character is deeply affected by the murder of a childhood friend. Describe a tragedy you didn’t expect to be as deeply affect by as you are.
2.) Tell us about a day you were sure you wouldn’t get through.
3.) A time when you should have listened to your mother.
5.) 10 Reasons why you love your job.
This week's prompts were hard for me to choose from.. I've had my share of tragedies, but I'm an emotional person so I'm expected to be deeply affected by just about anything. Asking a person whose been depressed almost their entire life to pick out one single day they weren't sure they'd get through is ludicrous. Listening to my Mom...eh. My pets least likable character trait?? With the exception of my family I probably like my cats more than humans. So, let's go with 10 reasons I love my job (in no particular order):
1. I wake up on the job...no need to get dressed and run around the house like a chicken with my head cut off rushing to get the kids to school and then get myself off to work while knowing that I've completely forgotten something and will kick myself for it later. I'm already at work.
2. I can take breaks whenever I want and for however long I want. No 30 min - 1 hr lunch with one or two 15 min breaks. I can stop whatever I'm doing to take a nap with my hubby, watch a movie with him, hug and kiss on my boys, or do nothing at all.
3. I'm my own boss. Although occasionally I let my hubby or the boys think they're the boss so they can feel special.
4. I never have to worry about my pay or vacation time getting screwed up because it's nonexistent. Well not in cash at least. I get all the love I can get unless someone is mad at me.
5. No deadlines...no one can tell me when MY project is to be completed. This probably could have went along with #2, but since I'm the boss...
6. I get as much overtime as I want, but is that really a good reason considering I don't get paid in the first place??? I do enjoy waiting up for my hubby to come home though. Snuggling is pay enough for me.
7. I have the best coworkers. I'm always around my family and I get to hand pick anyone I'm around outside of that. No Mr. Sexual Harassment, Bitter Betty, Suck up (or it) Sue...you get my point.
8. I'm NEVER bored...okay sometimes I am, but it's usually because I don't want to do whatever is on my list of things to do.
9. It's rewarding. When I [actually] clean my house top to bottom I feel good. I love cooking for my men and they love my cooking. I'm always available for my family and [needy] friends. I really do LOVE what I do.
10. I get to socialize with you guys ALL day!
OK so that was probably the worst list ever, but I tried. Hopefully some of you laughed, if not I don't really care I tried. Head over to Mama Kat's and check out writing prompts from people who took this week a bit more serious than me. Have a great day! ♥

Over here from Mama Kat's writing workshop. I did this prompt too. I like number 5 - I forgot that one. Love the little cartoon at the bottom.
Thanks for stopping by :)
I am like you, I like my cats more than some humans!
Great list...wish I had a job like that!
Cats are the best and I hated cats until last year, but a neighborhood cat was determined to get me to love her and it worked. I got my first kitten last eyar, but she ran away while in heat and I was a wreck. Hubby got me another kitten earlier this year and I just got two more last week so we have 3 now :)
What! I want a job like this! :D
Maybe in the future. :)

I think your list was great! I also did the list and as much as I love teaching preschool I would trade my check for full time with my family in a heart beat if we could afford it!
