Wanting But Waiting...

STINKS!

Phantom flutters, imaginary cravings, total poas (PeeOnAStick) addict (even though I KNOW I have the Mirena)...what's wrong with me???

Yep you guessed it! Baby Fever at it's best (or worst if you ask my hubby).

I'm married and finally at the age when one is considered old enough to even think about having kids and wouldn't you know my hubby has abruptly decided to start thinking with his 'other' head...go figure!
*rolls eyes*

Isn't it ironic how when I was young, dumb, and full of...oops my bad wrong site. Isn't it ironic how in my younger years (like it was SO long ago) when I wasn't mature at all (but I really REALLY thought I was) I got pregnant from sitting next to a boy (ok not really like that, but you know what I mean) and now that I'm ready REALLY ready to actually plan a pregnancy and ttc...I have to WAIT?!?!?! All while every other wife on base is sporting that latest fashion...the baby bump.

Ahhh the joys of married life, sea duty, and being a responsible human being. I guess I'll just live vicariously through every other spouse on base since every other wife I know is pregnant.

~end of rant~

Hey! I know what it's like seeing everyone else with a baby bump and not having one! My husband and I have been trying for [almost] 2 years now. The last 6 months with fertility treatments. Be grateful for the two precious lives you do have! We have none, yet. I hope you get your baby bump you want... Best of Luck.

Hi Jacqueline,

I apologise if my rant made it seem as though I don't appreciate my boys or that I'm insensitive towards the struggles you and many other women face. I pray that you're able to carrt a child of your own soon. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

My husband is itching for a baby. I do want a baby, but every time I see a pregnant woman it actually makes me not want to have one yet.

Screaming babies in restaurants, too! My sister and her husband would usually go during restaurants' off times where there aren't too many people. You don't see too many people remove their screaming babies. Last month they went to a restaurant with my parent's and Eric. (I was at my STEP class which is a prep for the NCIDQ exam). Eric said my nephew started screaming for 10 minutes straight, and my sister and her husband didn't take him outside.

Whenever I eat with my sister I keep my nephew's attention, and I take him outside if he starts screaming. It's so inconsiderate to ruin other people's dinner. I have told them quite a few times.

Then again I'm just like my mom, and she in no way would let us scream like that. She makes a point all the time to tell us we were the quietest kids. (Apparently, we were so scared of whippings even at 1 years old)

Unfortunately, something about pregnant women put me off so I definitely need more time, but I don't want to get too old.

My BH is also (and has been) in the baby desire mood... our friends have kids or having 2nd kids who are growing up and he feels like he needs a kid of his own as well.

I have my own health issues that make 1. carrying if I was to be pregnant dangerous and 2. maybe not a good idea of my genes got passed on to my child.

We've talked about adoption or even surrogacy (I hear a lot of service wives do this for $$) if we did want to have our own flesh and blood, but right now it's just not in the picture.

@Laura - that scenario drives me crazy. I only had that issue with Jaidon and I always took him outside if he were to start hollerin and if it got bad...we left.

@Bunny - I want to be a surrogate mother. Not for the money...it's just always been a dream of mine. I think surrogacy is on of the most selfless and beautiful things you can do for another woman.
